A beautiful rapé made by Waxy Yawanawa and the women of her village. A gentle grounding feminine force, opening at the third eye.

In 2019 I had the opportunity to spend a a month and dieta with Waxy Yawanawa and her husband Wasaru. Wonderful wise yet humble teachers who's teachings and plantwork I hold very dearly. 

The Yawanawa Tribe live along the Rio Gregorio in the Brazilian Amazon of Acre. Traditionally rapé was only made by the men of the tribe, yet women have been invited to share in this tradition. Among the different medicines they work with, they say rapé is their most important one. Rapé brings them clarity, assists their prayers and brings protection. The rapé is made under continuous prayer and song. As per Yawanawa tradition this rapé contains only tsunu ashes as additional ingredient.
