The cacao I work with comes from three varieties of beans from Peru, Criollo, Trinitario & Forastero beans.
These arrive as beans in the Netherlands and are carefully and lovingly ground up into ceremonial cacao bars.

Consuming raw ceremonial cacao has many (health) benefits, such as: 

- Rich in antioxidants
- Helps maintain hormonal balance 
- Acts as a heart opener and stimulant, dilates blood vessels and reduces blood pressure
- Reduces stress and increases focus
- Tryptophan in cacao helps produce serotonin, the happy hormone, as well as melatonin for better sleep
