Tattoo Ceremony
The transference of art onto the skin is shared by many traditions all over the world.
Often in a ritualistic way and marking powerful transitions in the life of the one receiving the art.
I have been intrigued with these traditions for a long time.
Already back in high school I designed some pieces and asked a friend for his skin to be my canvas.
It was not untill recently that I ended up taking this fascination more seriously and to combine it with my love for drawing and designing custom pieces for people. Over the years I've had requests of designing a tattoo for someone to be tattooed elsewhere, but now wih the help of some friends I started the journey to actually tattoo!
Handpoke Tattoo
I have decided to work using handpoke tools only. The process of handpoke is much less invasive then tattooing with a machine. I enjoy the calm and slow process of entering the ink into the skin, allowing you the time to receive the transmission of the artpiece as a transitional moment in your life. These tattoo sessions will be a ritual in and of themselves. I will first guide you into becoming clear on your intention for the piece, and the meaning of why you are placing this work on your skin. We will then move into the actual tattooing.
Tattoo Design
Some pre-created designs will be available for purchase as a tattoo design (to be tattooed elsewhere). Tattoo designs will have a limited availability of 5 sales each.
Next to purchasing a ready made design there is the option of working together with me in creating a custom tattoo design which can be taken elsewhere to be tattooed.
This option is also included in my shop.
